Lots of great stuff in here. The photo to recipe ratio is good and method pretty straightforward. Definitely one for the primary shelf.
If you’re anything from a reasonable cook upwards or just perhaps you’ve an extra helping of common sense or intuition a lot of these ingredient substitutes and suggestions to classic dishes to take then in a different or healthier direction will come as no surprise as anyone who cooks regularly will substitute chop and change regularly if they might not have certain ingredients or have more to feed or random veggies or vegans and fussy eaters turning up! Having said that, HFW always writes a great book and in the main really tasty seasonal food you’ll want to eat and more importantly, cook.
