It really worked well and everything just slotted in to place. ! The boy whose life she fears she ruined. But despite the trappings of success, she isn't happy, and she knows that a piece of her heart still belongs to Benjamin, the boy she fell in love with years earlier.

20 years later, Clara has a high-profile job and a handsome husband. I liked the different POV and timeframes. My thoughts :From the moment i started this book i became totally obessed with Clara and Bens story and i honestly hated having to put the book down to go to bed or work.

There is some heavy subjects in this story, the author has written about these really well. Searching for Benjamin, Clara is forced to confront the events that tore them apart. When a bombing is reported in the city where they first met, Clara is pulled back to a place she tries not to remember and the first love she could never forget.

It’s beautifully written and I really couldn’t put it down. But is it too late to put right what went wrong? I found aspects of the story very relatable to my own life and how hard times can become good if you just believe in yourself and keep on persisting with it.

Blurb :Two years together. Sorry im only posting my review now.

It’s unique and powerful. Wow this is a really great book, SO much goes on throughout the book it really does keep you engrossed and wanting to turn those pages. 2000.
