And it is , the best filter I personally have ever used. I can't speak highly enough of this filter , it's an absolute tank ! Yes, it really is a strong filter.

Nice big intake and nice big cage to capture lots of waste. Makes it so easy to do! A little aside here. Very easy to maintain, trays pull out easy for cleaning and swapping media etc, draining is a breeze , I wish I'd of invested in this filter sooner .

Decided to upgrade from the Fluval 306 canister filter that came with my Fluval Roma 240 Aquarium. The patented anti-clog Glenn Miller Microphone intake sports no such anti clog ballBasically speaking, anything’s by that can be taken into the FX6 will be drawn into the filter. .

The taps feels incredibly stiff though. That aside, This Filter Put ko can quite correctly infer that this is indeed the Daddy of all Canister Filters. As some of you may know, the 07 series intake sports a very useful ball intake which adequately prevent bigger d brid from finding its way into your filter and thus reduce ce flow and of course filtration. The anti clog intake will indeed take anything into the filter.

Disappointed it now doesn't have the Date dials. Upgraded from the Fluval 406 to the FX6 on my 450 litre tank, it’s unbelievable how powerful this is and how good it performs.

Particularly like the valve for water changes. Having seen these in action and knowing just how good they are I had no reservations about spending a little extra on it when cheaper options that offer tempting similar filtration statistics exist elsewhere for half the money.
