I fixed the cable over a baseboard and fixed it with clear hot glue. The cable will arrive rolled up inside a transparent plastic bag labeled as shown in the photo. Does what it should, doesn’t really increase your speed at all but does allow more flexibility on location of the router but still connect to the master socket.

I used it to replace the old extension cord that had portions of stripped wire. If you want to stay updated follow me! I did see a little bit of increase on upload speed but that may have just been BT doing something. Yes, this cable is good both for connecting to the Internet via a modem/router and for connecting a landline telephone.
