Reviews

Shamiza

I recently received the Montessori toddler book. I had to say this because so many people found that review “helpful. I bought this book looking for more ways to incorporate Montessori philosophies with my toddler at home.

I also loved all the books she referenced to throughout her book. I would highly recommend it for any parent or caregiver of toddlers.

Lots of tangible examples of how to incorporate Montessori into your home. It is supposedly a new book but looks used? The author tackles subjects like feeding, sleeping, toileting, pacifiers, siblings, brushing teeth, getting dressed, sharing, hiting, biting, throwing, clingy stages, screen time, and even how to help build skills for an introverted toddler. Parents of small children don’t have time to sift through all the fluff.

My baby is almost 9 months old, and I aim to use a Montessori and STEM inspired approach with her. Clearly my parenting style is very in line with the author's so I found it easy to love this book. This book is intended to be a guide not a ‘step-by-step, overnight change your life, and throw all your things out’ book. I have to add- I’m a middle class parent who is raising her fourth child in the Midwest.

I’m an early childhood educator so I have knowledge regarding child development and working with infants and toddlers. I assumed I bought a new book but I guess it wasn’t?

This was exactly the book I was searching for! This book is fantastic!
