Many other companies only sell water based which is nowhere near as good. The difference is night and day going from unfinished pressure treated pine decking 6months old to a nice natural oak finishing from Manns Premier before & after pictures are up. The Manns Premier is solvent based which is what you need for decking.

Went with a brush and a pad with ease, looks good and left the decking with a good coat. I got the 5l tin , it coverd an area of 4mx4m twice with a little bit left over.
