Many skills you need to acquire such as use in manual mode, HDR photography, understanding depth of field, learning light metering modes, studying histograms, raw image post processing are well learned on this basic model without any hindrances or limitations in features.

THIS DSLR is best if you know about lense gives you your desired photo quality even in the low light conditions. It offers a reasonably bright and clear view, but it shows only 95% of the scene. Good luck. Any camera >= 10MP is absolutely good for even events photographer.

There are direct keys for some settings – such as ISO, AF type, white balance and exposure compensation – and a Q button to gain access to some of the other commonly used settings, such as metering. ፨If this should happen, it will be possible to use the raw files to bring back lost detail, balancing it with noise reduction as suits your preference. It’s useful for shooting macro and still-life subjects, as you can check focus precisely.

So want to tell in one line- if you are not professional or technical about photography don't buy this and go for bridge camera. Hence 18MP would be roughly 16 X 20 inches big, the size of your standard rooms windows. Or if you are thinking of getting into professional photography then go for NIKON D3300 or D3400 by investing 2-4 k extra because their lense are cheaper than canon.
