I am a 60 year old woman with no carpentry experience, but with lots of You Tube research I made these skylight hatch covers out of rough cedar. Used it for trimming my kitchen cabinet and fixing my dresser drawers Great tool, I've used it alot already. Although these nails are very thin, the grip the wood like iron and are nearly impossible to pull out.

These immediately jammed the DeWalt. Put any two pieces of wood together and you can invisibly attach them, instantly, in a way that does not move their position relative to each other. The pins are almost invisible when they go in.

I think its because they have a plastic coating that heats up when they are driven, and grips the nail tightly. Pin nailers are magic. What I've found is that DeWalt and Bostitch brands are the kind to buy.

The gun was light and the battery life went on and on. Photo shows the project roughly 1/3 done. This enables endless kinds of building that really can't be done well another way.
