The button design to release the hair is FANTASTIC! Brilliant find. I think my cat is an Angora (I don't know for sure, we adopted him and we really don't care), and so far for his type of hair this has been the brush he hates the least. On my vet’s recommendation I bought this brush and it is absolutely fantastic!

Thoroughly recommended! We have short haired cats that are not big shedders but I like to do an occasional brush & especially in Spring when the weather changes & they lose more. I tried this out on a 2 year old cat and 16 year old.
