Overall, if you’re a fan of psychological thrillers that will keep you up at night, this is one for you! My neighbour is not. Walter book that I pick up. The chapter move back and forth in time which I loved- each chapter is like another piece of the puzzle.

The only reason this isn’t a 5* is because of the twist at the end - I felt that the twist wasn’t as exciting as I’d hoped and the book seemed to end quite quickly and abruptly. A secret to everyone. This is a tense, gripping and mysterious read which spans across several years and centres around two families.
P. I became very invested in the characters of Danny and Jonathan and was really rooting for them throughout! Mix in the beautiful story of growing up and friendship between Jonathan and Danny and I was hooked. The Locked Attic | B.
