Sara Cate knocks it out of the park yet again with another masterful entry in her Salacious Players Club series, and the way Sara handles this latest unorthodox relationship is just so well done, you can't help but root for Mia and Garrett. Could this be the turning point that she had always wished for but thought she would never get, or would Garrett drive even more distance between them? They have been step-siblings for a long time, but Mia is nursing a one-sided attraction for her stepbrother. There's no shame in asking for or seeking help and the fact that it's the MMC doing so is helping to break down more stereotypes.

He flirts with her under a username and everything blossoms from there. I didn’t think I would like the whole step sibling thing it was kinda weird at first but I don’t know I loved seeing their dynamic and the whole enemies to lovers thing was great too!

Despite her being younger, I love her confidence and assertiveness. Sara Cate has added a deeper emotional background to Garrett, with his mental health issues being a strong theme throughout the book. And the way she manages to make her heroes dominant alphas without them being massive, irredeemable jerks - her characters just have all these deliciously complex and nuanced layers, they almost feel real at times. We meet Garrett, best friend of Emerson (you remember him right 😏) and he likes to watch, his thing is voyeurism and he stumbles across his step sister Mia on a webcam site.
