The standard spray nozzle it comes with works great and seems to give a better pressure than the one I already had so that’s a bonus and as for the weight of it, the whole hose definitely feels lighter than my traditional one but strangely feels heavier when I’m using it compared with my old one but I like that anyway, it adds to the quality feel of it in my opinion. It states that it is kink free and easy to manoeuvre and I definitely agree, I wash my car a lot and I’m always getting kinks in the hose, with this one it looks like its going to kink when you pull on it buts it just straightens itself out every time which I think is the best feature about it and it moves easily over my gravel/tarmac drive so no issues there. It is not cheap, but clearly well made, so I have every confidence it will live up to my expectations. I can’t say how well it will hold up over time but with how well made it is and the fact it comes with a 30-year guarantee tells me Hozelock have faith in their product and it should stand the test of time quite nicely. Its comes nicely packed in a mid-sized box and as soon as I took it out I could feel it was high quality straight away, the outer core feels strong and well made and its got weighty metal fittings on each end that again feel like great quality.

But for now it will be kept under cover and out of the elements. It is worth every penny and great value for money - you can see why HOZELOCK are confident at giving a 30 year guarantee. I’ve owned multiple hoses in the past and they always kink and end up with a ton of micro holes spraying water everywhere, this Tuffhoze is exactly what I needed! It is quite soft and pliable and very lightweight which is a great advantage in such a long hose pipe.

I’m obviously unsure as to how the outer fabric type cover will wear over time and whether it will develop tears. I am guessing that over time it will become grubby, but then, so do most hose pipes. Performance is fantastic and it looks like it is a quality product. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Overall, I really like this hose and I hope it lasts for a very long time; I definitely recommend this one! I really do like this hose - it’s unlike anything I’ve seen before. The connectors are very high quality as is the hose and the cloth like covering. It is not cheap and to give an absolutely full review I would need to see how it performed over a couple of years, but this is not possible just now.

You get a standard watering jet nozzle and you get the all important adapter if you have an old thread [the white insert in the picture] or the newer orange adapter which the white one can screw in to if needed. I was truly doubtful this was value for money until it arrived. The connections are automatic water stops [both ends] and it is easy to get the water out leaving the adapter on and the nozzle open.
