Tried a few times now both for kebabs and joints and each time the result has been fabulous. I think an hour and a quarter would have been perfect. make a baste of melted butter, paprika, salt & pepper, baste 3-4 times during cooking. .

I shoved the metal rod thingy through my chicken, an extra large 2kg Aldi one might I add, secured the legs with the skewers and set it to work. Easy to clean too :) Even so, it was the best Sunday roast we’d had in ages.

We cooked ours for about an hour and a half, a tad too long to be honest but we don’t have a meat thermometer and we’re scared of it being underdone after reading the reviews on here. I absolutely love this! Very speedy cooking too.
