One of the metal D rings has become detached from the belt and now moves freely which actually makes it so much more useful as the dog changes direction from left to right on a walk or run. I don't have a toy dog that is a feather weight, I have a pulling saluki that tries to bolt at times when she sees anything that moves that might want to play with her! It allows me to walk hands free but I can use my hands to control my dog more (roadside etc). I wanted to give a good few months of product testing before I reviewed this to give it a thorough review.

The other has stayed put near to the buckle of the belt and is handy for both the lead and hanging dog pouches from. The lead is very strong and so far, with a powerful saluki trying to chase anything that moves, it has held fast. I get a lot of comments from other walkers saying 'that is a great idea for a lead' as it keeps hands free for taking photos etc.

The waist belt is a little fiddly to adjust but once done, very strong. Poo bags easily accessible.

As much as this could be seen a minor fault, I see it as a better design feature as it doesn't rotate the belt itself. Also like how the pouch is spread around the waist rather than just on one side as the weight of anything placed in it is spread evenly so isn’t annoying when running. . We bought this lead as a test for our crazy Cocker Spaniel puppy who has a tendency to pull when on her normal lead or extendable one and often jolts our shoulders.

This lead is very well made and durable with a nice sized pocket at the waist where poo dogs can go even a small torch which we carry. I gave it five starts despite the minor D ring detatchment issue as I think it's a better product better for this. Best puppy purchase we’ve made!

All in all I would recommend this product, especially if your dog pulls. The multiple handles as well helps when we need to control our dog and keep him close. Really happy with the product
