There is nothing more appreciated than a good prose. God, I would fall in love with him any day. I'm definitely a fan of this book.

It is absolutely brilliant and beautifully crafted. 2. Plot twist. Personally, to give a five stars it takes at least these two main criteria:1.

Anna Vecchiato

. The idea of Baba Yaga and Koschei the Deathless were initally rather intimitdating with a mafia boss feel to their families, legacies and business dealings. Each family had some characters I really loved and some I hated.

Chelsey Pitwell

Her narrative is precise, poetic and intriguing. I know people have sometimes struggled with the density of Blake's writing, its tendency towards a convoluted narrative but One For My Enemy was truly accessible, linear in the main and easy to read. The story was incredibly surprising, the directions it went, the shocks and twists.

It has to be beautifully written and One For My Enemy delivers just that. then the Federov brothers stepped in, and, my knees buckled. There’s a little bit of humour, lots of love and a ton of tragedy.

“You’re nothing until somebody wants you dead”I was hooked on this book from the first word until the last ! Now, stop reading these reviews, and press on BUY. What I expected, was to end up on the side of one family over another but the Antonovas and the Fedorovs were equally entracing as they were unpleasant. There’s a lot of characters in this but surprisingly I kept up with the story without an issue !

It’s a true turning-page book. My favourite will always be Lev. Olivies writing is beautiful as always I loved this world she created. There is little I can add to this review, given the perfectly described reviews already left, take all they say for TRUE.
