I see this gimbal having no problem with a full frame setup. I own a DJI Ronin SC, which is a good product, however, comparing to the ZhiYun M3, it is at the same level, the ZhiYun M3 is litterally the best gimbal in 2022, it is compact with strong motor, great battery life with led light, and it is neat and good quality! If you are looking for a gimbal for your phone and mirroless camera with prime lense, look no further, this is the one! Zhiyun M3 is a versatile gimbal with flexibility and ease of use.

Now, the Crane M3 handles that setup with ease (pictured). It's also a perfect size if you want to throw the gimbal on a monopod and get some more interesting angles.

Good job Zhiyun. I even use my Sony A7III with a lens converter and my Canon 17-40mm F4, and the gimbal works fine, it is incredible with such a small gimbal, I'm so happy with it. I did have to tweak the motor settings a bit to my liking, but that's pretty easy to do if you're used to the ZY Play app.

And while I don't see myself using the built in light too much, I do appreciate that it's integrated into the design. Oh, this gimbal finally has portrait mode too. Also the seller is very helpful, and ZhiYun's customer service is top notch, they reached to me and check if everything is ok with my M3 and anything they can improve with their product and service, and they offered me a quick release plate for free (this maybe a limited-time offer and not everyone could get one).

However, it will not balance with the iPhone 13 Pro max combination of UAG Kevlar case, Beastcgrip and wide angle lens. Zhiyun were helpful with technical advice and support and I cannot recommend them more highly for their instant replies to all emails 5***** all round for Zhiyun. I've been using Zhiyun Crane M2 and Weebill S for the last two years but bought the Crane M3 at launch as soon as I heard the specs. I have even been able to balance the Crane M3 with a Sony a6600 + Smallrig Cage and the Sigma 16mm.

Perfect for anyone doing reels or Tiktok these days. One of my main problems with last gen Crane M2 was that the max load was my Sony a6400 and 10-18 lens.

I enjoy the M3 with my camera and phone now, and this couldn't be better! We are reluctantly returning what is a very good gimbal which works perfectly on our other camera equipment but we required it for the Beastgrip set up. Speaking of the design, the white is an awesome touch, and the gimbal itself feels strong and well built.
