It’s carbon fiber so pretty much indestructible. Searched for a few weeks, trying to find something small I can pack but use for a professional camera or smaller.

I definitely recommend this product although make sure you get the correct size for your needs. (even had the waves pushing it)

I don't plan to shoot video with this but I have tested it and its actions are pretty smooth if I am in a pinch. They extend out as well as adjust to lay outward so you can have two arms on the ground and one on a ledge for those awkward angles. This Sirui tripod is awesome, it's made of carbon fiber and has a nice smooth element to every flip, switch, lever, etc.
