slighty tinny dingdong but very easy to install and very compact and smart compared to my old one I needed a doorbell that was compatible with the Ring Pro 2 AC voltage range of 16v - 24v. What makes the Honeywell Ding Dong better for Ring Doorbell Pro than the other doorbell sounders that can be powered by a transformer like a Byron 776, is the internal wiring is much much thicker. Does the job well

Basically this will then have wires with a special connector that you can fit into a slot that is covered by a sticker on the ring pro power kit v2. Ding Dong could be a little louder but it’s not too quiet. Not the loudest but perfectly acceptable. It’s only been on an hour.

I bought this to complement my Unifi G4 doorbell which came with a 16v transformer and a small switching module which fits perfectly inside the battery compartment of the chime. 😀 Everything works fine! Let’s hope it lasts as long as the old one.

Used in conjunction with Nest Hello and plug in 16v transformer. Wiring was a bit tricky so am attaching my diagram in case it helps anyone.

I dont know why comments on here mention the sound of the chime is not that loud because after having installed it properly on the wall, it is as loud as my previous Byron chime, if not slightly louder! I would have liked it if it was louder.

Bought this doorbell as I wanted the Ring Doorbell Pro to work as much as possible like a traditional doorbell as far as the children, grandparents and partner were concerned. 99 and that will allow you to use your mechanical chime with the Ring Pro 2. Connect the two wires from the doorbell button to the top two connectors on the Honeywell Ding Dong (0F and 1).
