The machine slides all around while using on a hard surface. The climber was surprisingly easy to assemble, even though it looked intimidating at first. I love this product I can't say enough how incredible this is !

Even though the counter/computer battery was dead (uses one lr44 coin battery), I gave the device 5 stars. If you have a Face ID phone, your buttons are on the sides and when you put your phone in, the buttons immediately get depressed, so you have to maneuver your phone into the holder. One part, the right pedal, arrived broken but the unit still works. Here is my experience with the Maxi Climber:Upon receipt of the machine, I found it quite easy to assemble and it seemed quite will constructed.

I got a gooseneck attachment instead so I could mount my iPad and play workout videos from the CLMBR app, which is Peloton quality, compared to the videos in the app provided by the MaxiClimber. Normally, I buy the lowest-priced options but this time, I wanted something strong enough for my large son and husband to use. I'm leaving a 4-star rating until this happens. I 3D printed a bracket that allows me to mount the sell phone to the right side, and a blue tooth speaker to the other side.

After a couple of workouts, I ran into the same problem people are experiencing with the rollers - one side had white powder residue after wearing down the white roller. It is low impact and allows movement of both arms and legs. I really like the stretch of the arm handles.

I am a lightweight and probably will not need the hydraulic resistance, at least for a while. The resistance is controlled by two hydraulic cylinders. I hope to use it to stay in shape and build overall muscle, without a lot of back strain. And I mean if your hesitant on purchasing this product don't be the XL will give you a hell of a workout and not only that great results .

The only way you can use a cell phone is by keeping it in portrait position, which rules out watching videos. however, the older and cheaper version was kind of not sturdy enough, bit wobbly and as time went by, everything was creaking and making noises. You can’t fit an iPad into it either. However, there is no functional need for the washers that are missing.
