About this deal

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

Two Way Installation Therefore, the P12 Slim PWM PST is particularly suitable for use on covered case vents or inlets with filters. A 10°C lower motor temperature roughly doubles the life span of a fan. This saves energy and lowers the coil temperature without comprimising the performance. Due to a sinus-magnetizing the new motor only creates about 5 % of the vibration from commutation of a regular DC-motor without filter. Consequently, we have extended the warranty to 10 years. 300 To 2100 Rpm Regulated Via PWN PST Combined with their lower price, this P12 PST is a fantastic fan for high performance and low noise. This Arctic fan is doing the job nicely, and interestingly it is not causing a build-up of dust in the air filter (by contrast, the Corsair fan is collecting a fair bit of dust). The noise is comparable to the Corsair fan.

George

This is a decent quality low noise fan. I put it on my CPU radiator since it has faster rpm than my other fan.

Stephen

I'm guessing the fan wouldn't be so good sucking air out of the back of a PC, but it works well for the radiator. It pulls the air in efficiently enough, and is apparently intended for maintaining a constant air pressure through a radiator.

So the cheap price and performance gave me enough of a reason and assurance to go ahead with those fans instead of splashing out on a fan that costs 3-4x more than one of these Arctic fans. Using 12 arctic fans currently, combination of p14s and p12s. I've done no big tests with the fan, it was purely bought as an exhaust, as such I have purchased 2 more 140mm of the variant for the roof of my case.

Peter

Same good performance, low noise, and low cost, while being a prominent part of the system. The media could not be loaded. Very good performers with decent noise levels The PWM (fan) settings worked great had I no trouble controlling the speed of the fan from the motherboard or software.

Rob

I agree with some of the other reviewers that these fans DO make some noise when running at around 1000 RPM - This can easily be solved by changing the fan speed in either your motherboard settings, or by some PC monitoring software - i just changed the fan speed curve to avoid that particular RMP entirelyOtherwise the fans are whisper quiet and move a lot of airThey also look great and their shroud/case looks excellent toogood value for PWM fans Now that I've tried them both, there's not a huge amount in it, but the Arctic fan probably has the edge for this application, if only because I don't need to clean the air filter for it. The blades are well-enough protected, but they do look relatively flimsy. Recommended.

Does the job amazingly and priced better than the competition. Big difference compared to Corsairs that came with 4000D Airflow edition case + also PWM (4PINS)Would recommend to anyone who needs a perfect case fan Tested some games but couldn't bring rpm above 1200, and it's super quiet even with this speed. They both draw ait through a foam air filter, and blow into the radiator.
