I was so sore and tired of boiling up pots of water and lugging them upstairs to the bathroom. Added a ladder. Such a great handy and worthwhile solution if you need a temp bath!

Built a sturdy frame around it. Happy mostly but there was a large chip out of the edge on delivery. as shown in pic

However, if it’s going to be sunk in the ground then clearly this is not necessary. I’ve built a wooden decking surround with a lip for it and it looks lovely. bought as a bath for our puppy, ( currently 13 kgs) he tends to use it as a paddling pool .

I wouldn’t recommend filling it right to the top unless the sides are supported as it does bow out at the sides when full. .
