The book is both an autobiography and a history of the most extraordinary time in football. Almost akin to an Industrial Revolution. David has impacted and changed lives countless times in and and out of Football and continues to do so.

His book could be a set text for any student considering this era. The relationships he has with people is extraordinary, David understands people from all walks of life and I could feel the care and compassion he has extended to people. One of the best football books I have read. I was delighted to receive this book as part of a lunch with David Dein at the Royal Automobile Club.

I have so many things to say about this book! From Fifa to Fa every one in the world related to football are owed to this guy. David Dein was front and centre.

. They might yet end up as Arsenal livery for a future away kit. Long live David Dein, still doing so many things for the community. Spell binding book, the most extraordinary autobiography I have ever read!
