I have a plant that I had transplanted to save to grow outside this year. I do find a few flying around the house but the majority have been caught by this product. I did not have any issues with them being too sticky, I read other reviews and just made sure to keep my hold on the bottom plastic part when handling/inserting into the dirt.

Soil gnats are so annoying! Does its job,but doesn’t seem to have its own scent, need to leave next to baits.

Highly recommend these if you want another method of defense against annoying gnats and soil flies. No joy. Noticeable difference in a couple of days.

These were 100% what I was looking for. As you can see, they work great! Clearly this had fly larvae in it. Only wish the part that goes into the soil would be thicker because when putting it in the soil it sticks to your hands and fingers.
