He worked and had things going on with my father so they spoke about work to. Wife Ann was a amazing lady.
Wouldn’t like you swearing in front of ladies ect. This book like many books can be a little over reacting but it’s all true as can be.
I first met Bartley when I was 10 years old as he was a great close friend to my father. One thing I will remember is when he invited us into his home in tean behind the ship pub. I can’t write what I’d like about Bartley as not enough time, but he was a character.
This book tells half a story of a man I had the pleasure of knowing and spending time with. So much to tell but one great man who could be a little naughty to. Up to my late teens, me my father and brother would have the great fortune to go to his land on uttoxeter and help build his great home.
He never got to live out his life there as he wanted. Rip Bartley never forgot you and your advice His house was full of all things you can imagine.
