be/KT6mq1440zMIn my case I was getting heat in the radiators when only the HW was calling for heat plus the CH on its own was coming on because the motor wasn’t moving the microswitch in the head that gives power to the pump and boiler. Just two screws and and the two crimp together electrical connections. Then this year no central heating unless we had the hot water on, and even then only until the hot water tank had warmed up.

So invested in this motor as new valve required draining central heating system and £100+. I could tell the valve was good because I could operate it by hand.

Below is a really good guide to look at if you’re considering this. The old motor was struggling to operate it. This fitted ok, it’s only been in use for a few weeks so cannot speak to longevity. Take picture as you go so you know what it all looks like for refitting.
