About this deal
We especially like that you can highlight fountain pen without smearing the ink. The Koh-I-Noor Highlighter Pencils are a thing to behold. This 'dry marker' highlighter pencil is used like a highlighter pen, it is excellent for underlining, highlighting over ink and super bright doodling. Available in four extra vibrant colours. These are immediately dry, which is logical and are great for thin pages! Unfortunately, the mine breaks off quickly on some, so you have to sharpen a lot.

there was a lot of waste for sure. Hoping to use them more often. Wanting to reduce my plastic use, I bought the highlighter pencils.

The blue and the pink are a bit darker and are harder to see through, but they're still good for underlining. Too bad, however, that you have to order 2 packages. Probably the packaging waste is still 'better' than the disposal of plastic shell highlighters (especially since the pencils will last longer) but more environmentally thoughtful packaging on this particular product would have been really nice. I was skeptical but decided to give it a try.

I feel bad each time I have to throw another plastic shell highlighter into the garbage. A couple of the pencil tips were broken, also end of thin plastic packaging was ripped (as shown). Children like them a lot, but also adults. The photos don’t do them justice.

The pens are really great as an alternative to the normal highlighter. Pencils are okay themselves, so far.

The blue colour is by far the worst, and looks like a normal blue pencil. The yellow is by far the best (brightest and easiest to see through) but closely followed by the red, orange, and even the green.
