John. The way the characters evolve is simply amazing. The first chapter is long but one you get over that chapter a lot more characters come through into existence A real page turner in every sense.

I love my 1000 pages plus books (this one is 1343) it’s taken me year to finish on and off and this book is up there with some of the greats. One of the finest historically accurate novels on 10,000 years of English history - centred on Salisbury and Salisbury Plain - particularly Stonehenge. I picked this book from Stone Henge gift shop. The book arrived promptly and in perfect condition.
