She lives with her grandparents in North London, in a narrow house connected to the family bookstore called Pages & Co. This book will be adored by children today and will be a nostalgic read for adults.

Night Resplendent

This was the first book from which she started reading story books. Can’t recommend this book highly enough, everyone from the age of 1 to 100 should be read/should read this book. .

As I child I wished for nothing more than to be able to go on adventures through The Magic Faraway Tree with Moonface or down the rabbit hole with Alice and it seems that Anna James and I shared that wish! like they came out bcoz the glue wasn't applied properly. I loved every moment of the book and am glad that I already have the sequels ready on my to be read pile as I'm eager for more. All of a sudden everything is turned upside down when Tilly realises that not only can characters from her favourite books jump out of their stories and land right in her bookshop but that she too can wander into any story that she chooses.

It is just out of this world. Brilliant, clever, bookish - all the things a young reader wants. It's a perfect book.

If you love Middlegrade or know someone else who does - 𝘛𝘪𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘉𝘰𝘰𝘬𝘸𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘳𝘴 is for you. This is a flawless book with a wonderful setting and adorable characters. I for one certainly didn't see you-know-what being you-know-who when Tilly and Oskar find themselves in among the characters of a true children's classic and neither will you.

@ImaginELLA

I think the balance of adventure and hopes for something more are balanced excellently by the author and you're left as the reader utterly shocked and kept hovering upon the edge of your seat by the twists and turns the story takes. This book is about Matilda (Tilly) Pages, who doesn’t really know anything about her father, her mother disappeared when she was very young & she has very few friends. Actually the true story starts after 150 pages but before that tilly's life and the begining of the mysteries is showned and she loved it a lot.

@CaseforBooks has created a world that is vivid and fantastical as the classics mentioned in𝘛𝘪𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘉𝘰𝘰𝘬𝘸𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘳𝘴 and she succeeded in bringing to life not only the characters who love being in the Pages and Co bookstore but those who have entranced children and adults for decades and in many cases centuries. The idea of being able to walk within the pages of books you love I think is something all readers would welcome with both arms open. )
