3af PoE on the back in addition to the 24v (as per picture). It comes with a little power brick to provide Power over Ethernet, so all you can see is one cable running to it which looks rather lovely. uk/gp/product/B07WQG6DD9) on each end and it works a treat. Very easy to setup using the mobile able took under 10 minutes.

No drop outs, no fuss. As you can see from the photos (along side an AC-LR in the middle and an AP-LR in the right), it's physically the smallest of the disc shaped units.

Still love the kit though, will just have to bulk buy in the leads to be on the safe side, which is a bit annoying. I had previously been using an old Zyxel N300 mounted in the same position. If this is just a booster for your lounge then Zyxel do a nice ceiling mounted WAP and even more traditional get a TP-Link, they are like Netgear used to be, old school and a lot cheaper. I now confirm it runs just fine on my standard 48v PoE router.

Bought this on the strength of other reviews, and I'm delighted that it works as advertised. Note that standard PoE is 48v.

I've finally upgraded myself to the UAP-AC-LITE, which are much smaller than my old AP-LRs, however having placed it into the house, the software provisioned and upgraded the firmware on it without any problems. However it did all work beautifully and I felt like the software was looking after me. Before I had Sky Q Hub plus two old Sky Hubs configured as access points in different rooms (using powerlines), the ratio was almost one access point per room, even so, the kitchen was always out of range (old flat, brick walls).

Good speedYou can tweak settings in more detail with a lap top, but it works just fine pretty much plug and play for a simple home office set upCan be a distance away from the power source- just needs a longer Ethernet cable Someone needs to check these boxes before they ship to check all componenets are present in the box.

The only hiccup I had was trying to configure the device, as it doesn't have a Web-UI like most consumer-grade routers have, but you have to bear in mind that this device is designed for enterprise environments so it doesn't spoon feed you in terms of setting it up. I could buy cameras and door bells and routers and all sorts of gear and it would be very easy to manage.
