This is a very nice Orthodox Study Bible edition, especially for the price. The commentary provided at the end of the page often points out how the passage relates to Christ and his Church. I shall not criticize the Bible! I would highly encourage you to purchase this version of the Bible.

! The commentary in the Old Testament enhances our understanding on how it relates to Christ. You'll really get deeper understanding of the Bible using this. Most of these commentary is from the early Church fathers.

It came super fast but the cover was damaged which is a little disappointing however the rest of the Bible is okay. Hard cover is a must. This would have been helpful to me when making my decision to purchase, because I am in search of an Orthodox Study Bible that includes the Ethiopian Orthodox books including Enoch.

It is also really informative, it has overviews, maps, set prayers, and tells you how to get the best out of Bible reading, i definitely recommend this Bible and it also has a great price in my opinion, just keep in mind the pages are thin so if that’s not a problem for you go ahead! Upon removing the dus cover, I was delighted to find a beautiful maroon bound hard cover with gold lettering. I have included pics of the Bible without the dust cover, the table of contents and a nice Old Testament comparison table. Since, the Bible was translated from the Septuagint, there is a lot of clarity to several verses when comparing it to translations based on the Hebrew Masoretic text. I had researched about different translations of the Septuagint to English and finally decided to purchase the Orthodox Study Bible.
