I presume that this is because the blade was nice and sharp and fresh out of the packet but even if it just works this well for one job I'm relatively happy with it, plus the fact it actually comes with a second new/sharp spare blade is a solid bonus. It is however the best and easiest to use of the 3 cutters I have. No rough edges to sand down. If you're thinking about one to make a few odd jobs easier, go for it.

It slipped over the 15mm water feed pipe in a couple of turns, and sliced neatly through it in just under a minute without much physical exertion needed, just simple rotations. If you look at the photo you can see the wrong spring had been fitted. I had originally tried to fix but couldn’t.

Looks like the wrong spring from an 22 mm cutter which fouled the body thus not allowing the blade to move back far enough to let the pipe in. Great Service - the working replacement was received within 17 hours. Rolson 22406 Copper Pipe Cutter, 15 mm.

Original product didn’t work, I couldn’t get the 15mm pipe into the cutter. Not the cleanest cut but great value for money. Excellent little tool for just over a fiver. I reported it by the return process and they said they would send a replacement with no need to return the original.

I am not a plumber, but this so easy to use. ><. Highly recommended for a bit of DIY plumbing.
