I left the solution on for 45 minutes. I saw this product and decided to try as I don't trust hairdressers anymore. So I've gone from red with some covered blue/green in my ends.

Just annoyed I didn't take before and after pictures. I bought two boxes but one box was enough (only just). This was a good product and I give it 4 out of 5. It went slightly gingery, it lightened it but definitely not as much as I was hoping for.

It does state that if you don't wash out all those dye particles properly in the rinse, the y will stay in the hair and the colour will revert, which I think is a problem several reviewers had. I combed through my hair before application and again once my hair was saturated. it wasn’t that pigmented my black hair though because i did grow it out for a few months, please also rinse your hair for at last 15 mins and throughly use the buffer in your hair and also rinse that for at least 15 mins, it doesn’t smell that bad and because my hair is naturally thick and strong it worked well using 2 however i’m not sure if it’s okay for thin hair, anyways it worked amazing using 2 so i definitely recommend, i put my before photo when u got ready a few days ago where you can see my black hair and the other two are after i’ve used 2 removers

I think it works great but you really have to follow the instructions to the letter to get the best result. It did turn my hair sort of ginger, not my natural dark brown, but I had already got a brown dye so used this afterwards with great results, as shown.

I will say that prior to the blue dye, my hair was virgin uncolored hair, so that may have some bearing on its effectiveness. This was going to be my last try and I'm so glad I did. It took the red from my ends which was masking the blue/green, leaving the blue/green clearly visable and really did nothing to remove that.
