Maybe you could if you use more clips than I did (about every 30cm) (see photo)But it's okay, if you don't mind (like I don't) that it is a bit ugly. Good value and quick delivery.

Feels good quality, strong, thick wire. Excellent, provides an extra couple of (mobile) power points in my small workshop. A bit hard (kind of impossible) to straighten it out / and not easy to bend. :D If it goes behind furniture, its fine.
