Reviews

Well done Fuji! What I like about this model is its lightweight SLR design feature.

For such a low price you get amazing picture quality. I'm well pleased with their product. The 10x zoom was the reason for buying at the time and now i am a fan of Fuji FinePix - My next is likely to be the 9600 or I do quite like the new 18x zoom of the 8000fd. It takes excellent pictures especially in low light situations.

Longest shutter speed is 15 seconds so not very good for very low light shooting but still enough for most conditions. Out of the box, easy instructions though I note from other reviews that if it comes direct from finepix then it could be in French (what's that all about? It's never going to compete with the more expensive DSLR's but you would be hard pressed at this price to find anything better. 1 megapixels, it is an ideal camera whether you're an amateur or a semi-professional, and for those who just want to use it as a "point and shoot" camera, it is the perfect camera in relation to its weight.

So for people who want a superb digital camera and are on a low budget i would strongly recommend anything in the Fujifilm range. Why? the only negative point I would have is as with most digital photographs the dreaded purple fringing on white edges

I would have to say all round this is one of the best cameras I have used the size and weight make it easy to use and not too bulky to carry. With its 10x optical zoom and 2x digital zoom and a resolution of 5.

The fact that the S5600 camera uses the AA type battery was one of the principal considerations in my decision to purchase one and,the price was another - for £70, that's a bargain when you consider that this model was about £300 when new in the high street. ). Let me begin by writing that I am no expert! Having converted to a being Fuji fan in the light of owning an S5600 camera, I've just ordered an S6500fd camera as I find the Fuji range of cameras to be far more superior for their quality, reliability and versatility.

I will probably sell my £350 dslr and buy another one of these before I go on holiday later this year. This seems to be true of all Fujifilm cameras. I would not consider my self an expert photographer, I have owned a SLR for many years and recently bought this camera.
